Big Horn Lions

Excellent Wyoming destination for high success on big cats. Hunt season limited to November and December and subject to state allocation system but still when we have snow, clients normally harvest. The Big Horn Mountains west of Sheridan are not as rugged as some of the other areas we chase lions and as a result we are often able to stay with the hounds using either ATV’s or snowmobiles. This mobility means getting on treed game more quickly which greatly increases shot opportunities. When the weather cooperates and good tracking snow is on the ground, lion hunting can be incredibly fast-paced, fun and exciting.
