Their total numbers are in the 350,000 range but they migrate over an area roughly 16,000 square miles. Our outfitter, headquartered in Yellowknife, NWT has 3 camps positioned to intercept the herds on their annual trek across the arctic tundra. This hunt requires good physical conditioning and the harder you hunt the better your odds on a quality animal.
